Daisy Dandelion project and a little something else

At long last I have finally found an opportunity to post up this project! Better late than never I guess! I decided to make a card with matching Christmas earrings-something a little different I hope. Also I turned a jam jar into a little latern using some stickers. Details of how to make this project can be found on the daisydandelion blog. And heres a piccy for you all to see.

Be Chic Christmas Card!

Hi All, hope you all keeping well. I decided to have a go at the Be Chic challenge over on the stampin chic blog this week, and seeing as I have lots of Christmas Cards to make it had to be along that theme! So I decided to do a girlie Chic Christmas card and I am very pleased with how this turned out. Heres the pics!

ebay items finishing today!




Hi All
No cards to day but just to let you know I am selling some items on ebay which finish today, they are all Basic Grey, I thought best to keep half of my stuff, and sell the other half to help pay for new things.

A spooky birthday card

Hi All
Hope you are all keeping well. Weather is still warm and sunny here in Turkey.
Today I would like to show the project I made for Daisy and Dandelion. The design word was 'halloween', and although I didnt actually make a halloween project I still used all my projects from the trick or treat range of Daisy and Dandelion, not only that I wanted to show people how verstaille the range is, and that you can make a whole host of others things with the beautiful papers, die cuts.

Yet another post!

Yes another post-gosh I must be trying to catch up with myself, this is for a Basic Grey Challange, another new discovery of mine!

House Mouse Card

Hi everyone-sorry I havent loaded any cards for a while, my mojo seemed to have gone away on holiday after all those anniversary cards I made!!!! Anyway I had a new order (well two actually!!!) come from Simon Says Stamp, and inside were lots of yummy yummy things which has really inspired me (oh by the way Simon Says Stamp are wonderful!).
I really enjoyed making this card with my House Mouse stamp called Beaded Tree, I have never seen such hugh stamps and the image comes out perfect. I decided to use alternative colours for this Christmas cards, I just love alternative colour christmas cards with a bit of silver added in. I used my new Orchid Dew Drops and Christmas Green Prima Flowers. I also got the sewing machine out, and this the second time I have used the stitching techique. Heres the pic.

My oh my!!!

Well I have some news to annouce-I am a part of the Design Team for Daisy and Dandelion!! I can't believe it, and whats more I now have 3 followers!!! Never had that before-now I know to a lot of you 3 followers is apsolutely nothing, but too me they have caused a shock horror of 'Wow people are actually going to be looking at my blog!!!' So Hi I am waving to all my followers who I treasure dearly. I we do my upmost best to blog well from now on!!! And I just can't believe I am a design team, member but I must get back to Erica and get one of those little signs that say it! Well I better away and look at some other blogs now, and getting making something to show you lot!!! There is a teddy growing in the cupboard which also needs some attending to, prehaps she could be my mascot!

Just Magnolia Colour Challenge

Here we are again for another Just Magnolia Challenge-this one is a color combo-pink and grey with the optional use of black.
I have used my new Magnolia stamp for this one-I love it, tilda leaning of her little hands you could use this stamp for lots of different reasons-great!

Simon says stamp challange and a few others!

Hi all, said there would be something soon. I made this card for 2 challanges, one on do crafts, and the other on Simon Says Stamp Challange blog. The sketch has been designed by Claire Curd, which you can find details about on the do crafts website, Simon Says Stamp wanted us to create a card with stitching. It is the first time I have used stitching. I dont know what I think of it really, but I did enjoy doing it, and I am pleased with the finished result. I also inked the edges of the image, which I have also never done, again i am pleased with the end result. So without further ado, heres is the card eventually I think it will a happy birthday wife card, I think!

Simon says stamp challenge

This is my first simon says stamp challenge entry. This week it is a sketch to win some fab candy! I must admit I really struggled with this card, nothing was going my way at all. The idea I had just wont work, I have no idea why, but some cards are just like that I guess!! Well heres the picture

Magnolia Too Challenge and Basic Grey

Well, this is the first time I have entered Magnolia Too Challange and Basic Grey. In fact its the first time I have played with Basic Grey papers!!! I will be doing lots more playing believe me. I had little interest in their products, but won some Basic Grey stamps and they were lovely, and stamped beautifully, so I decided to give in and get some Lemonade papers! I can't wait for Eskimoo Kisses to come and those adoreable stamps! A girl can't have too many Christmas papers can she???
Anyway the challenges. Magonlia Too is to create a 3D tilda-I had lots of fun doing this-and I shall definately do it again. Basic Grey asked us to create cards with a pink-brown-yellow scheme.

My craft space lives in the corner of the computer. Its a small area, but I love it, and its part of the apartment that is mine.

And this is behind me, ther are 2 sets of drawers where Ican store most of my stuff, I must admit I have to put other stuff there too! It needs a good sort out again really. On top is my Silhouette machine, bind it all and sewing machine-which ı really need to use more of. One day maybe I will have a whole room and then I will place everything out ready to use but I really love my cute corner.

Stampin Chic Summer Colours Challenge

Well this fortnights challenge was to use summery colours. I chewed over this for a while, and decided to do this, I had a problem trying to decide how to use Claire Curds products, but got there in the end.

and I had to use the new border punch I bought in Fethiye-I couldnt believe it 4 different border punches in Fethiye, feel i shall be buying more!!!!!
Still need to add a sentiment, have to decide what to do with that later, as if I dont hurry I shall miss this challenge, as tomorrow is Friday again!

Just Magnolia For a Friend Challenge

Hello Again-hope you are all well. The weather here in Turkey is fantastic-believe it or not I expected it to be 15 degrees hotter than this, this time of year. Ok, you still sweat but you don't swelter! It really is lovely.

Been so busy making lots of new cards-I was planning to show you several but photobucket is exceptionally slow today so the other will have to wait for another day.
Here's the teddy card I made last night, I am really pleased with it, a basic, simple design which took over an hour! Oh yes, that might have been because I was watching Moonlight at the same time!
